Our client has an exceptional new site opening in Eastwood and are looking for a new team member to join their fast-growing business!Here at HireGiant, we are working with a client renowned as a world leading manufacturer of cleaning and food products across the UK. They are needing an experienced Maintenance Engineer to work with their current close knit maintenance team to support the ongoing pre planned maintenance and reactive maintenance on their new site.The RoleThe Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance technician will need to be competent and experienced with all aspects electrical and mechanical maintenance plans and reactive maintenance across the site. Ideally, we are looking for someone who has previous experience working in a similar FMCG field, specifically on Pneumatic machines (air or gas). The right candidate will be an integral part of the team and our client's day to day running on site and inevitably helping in company growth due to streamlining their manufacturing processes. Our client is dedicated to providing employees career progression in line with company growth, meaning the right person will be someone looking to strive for the next steps in their career as the company will help support them on achieving additional qualifications.Requirements For This RoleYou will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance of the facility and the Planned Preventative Maintenance system.Ensure at all times the plant is maintained to ensure safe and efficient and timely continued operation.Where required assist with the installation and implementation of capital projects.Adhere to relevant procedures and assist where required with the control of contractors involved with maintenance operations and capital projects whilst working at the facilityWork as a team player within the engineering department and help with meeting all agreed objectives.Assist with compliance of the safety, health, environmental and quality policies when requiredAssist in maintaining a strong health and safety awareness culture within the engineering and other departments.Follow the any specified requirements on risk assessments in relation to the engineering and other department functions.Follow the requirements of permits and safe systems of work.Ensure that site housekeeping in sections within your control are maintained to the required standard.Qualifications & Skills Required In This Maintenance Engineers/Technician RoleRecognised Engineering qualification, minimum of a level 3Multi-Skilled approach with an Electrical BiasExperience of working with manufacturing machineryBackground preferably in Food Manufacturing or FMCG.Hours & PayThe work is Monday to Friday, you will be alternating shifts over a 4 week periodWeek 1 07:00am 15:30pm Monday to FridayWeek 2 07:00am 15:30pm Monday to FridayWeek 3 07:00am 15:30pm Monday to FridayWeek 4 14:00pm 22:00pm Monday to FridaySalary£40-45,000 Annually.Enhanced holiday, career progression available and supporting additional qualifications, free onsite parking. #J-18808-Ljbffr
