Maintenance Engineer

We’re actively recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to support our clients continued growth and technical excellence based in Burntwood on a permanent basis.
Previous experience working with industrial/engineering machinery is essential.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop mechanical systems and components for manufacturing processes
*
Support production teams with technical expertise and troubleshooting
*
Assist with fixing machinery and carry out preventative maintenance
*
Improve existing machinery and processes to enhance efficiency and safety
*
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development and testing
*
Create and maintain technical documentation, including CAD drawings and specifications
*
Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards
*
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the engineering function
Experience & Skills Required:
*
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
*
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
*
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes
*
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
*
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
*
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
*
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Working hours - 37 per week (DAY SHIFT ONLY):
* Monday to Friday - 07:30-16:00
