Multi-Skilled Engineer
to play a key role in ensuring the smooth and safe running of production operations at a well-established and high-performing food manufacturing facility based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch This is your opportunity to join a collaborative engineering team, where you'll be encouraged to bring fresh ideas, solve problems, and help drive improvements across the site. Key Responsibilities: Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of manufacturing and site equipment
Work closely with production teams to reduce downtime, improve reliability, and maintain product quality
Perform root cause analysis and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Create and update PPM schedules, maintaining accurate maintenance records
Ensure high standards in health & safety and food safety are upheld at all times
Liaise with contractors and oversee safe systems of work
Candidate Requirements: Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Electrical Engineering
Strong multi-skilled engineering background (mechanical skills a plus)
Previous experience in a food or FMCG manufacturing environment
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
Excellent communication skills and a team-focused mindset
