JOB – Laundry Engineer

LOCATION – Berkshire

TERM- Permanent

SHIFT PATTERN – 4 on 4 off days (5am-5pm) or nights (5pm-5am)

SALARY - £45,000 - £55,000, dependent on experience

My client is a manufacturer in the Laundry industry. They are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with Laundry experience to join their team in Berkshire on a permanent basis.

The Laundry Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• Experience working in the Laundry industry
• Strong hands-on Engineering skills – fault-finding, dealing with machinery failures, maintenance, breakdown, repair
• Time Served Apprenticeship / NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualified or similar in an Engineering discipline
• Come from a Mechanical or Electrical background
• Able to work safely and methodically
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team
• A flexible and proactive attitude towards work

The Laundry Engineer role will involve:

• Working in a team to improve and maintain laundry machinery
• Being proactive in ensuring the smooth running of all equipment
• PPM and breakdown avoidance
• Ensuring documentation is maintained and Health & Safety standards are met
• Ensuring efficiency and a high standard of work is met throughout the site
• Working with others and being an excellent team player
