Are you a qualified Gas Safe Engineer with a passion for delivering high-quality maintenance services? Join DN Colleges Group and play a key role in maintaining and improving our estate's mechanical and plumbing systems. You'll be part of a supportive, skilled team working across a diverse and dynamic educational environment.
About the Role
As a Maintenance Gas Engineer & Plumber, you'll provide responsive and planned maintenance across our college sites. From servicing boilers and heating systems to maintaining water systems and supporting statutory compliance, your work will help ensure a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for students and staff.

About the Role
As a Maintenance Gas Engineer & Plumber, you'll provide responsive and planned maintenance across our college sites. From servicing boilers and heating systems to maintaining water systems and supporting statutory compliance, your work will help ensure a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for students and staff.
Essential Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in a relevant trade
- Gas Safe registration (CCN1) and CODNCO1 qualification
- Experience in commercial gas and plumbing maintenance
- A full, clean UK driving licence
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out reactive and planned maintenance on plumbing and mechanical systems
- Service and repair boilers, heating plant, AHUs, and water systems
- Conduct statutory testing (e.g. PAT, fire alarms, fire doors)
- Maintain accurate records for compliance and asset management
- Support stock management and assist colleagues across trades
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with health and safety regulations
