Are you a qualified Gas Safe Engineer with a passion for delivering high-quality maintenance services? About the Role

As a Maintenance Gas Engineer & Plumber, you'll provide responsive and planned maintenance across our college sites. From servicing boilers and heating systems to maintaining water systems and supporting statutory compliance, your work will help ensure a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for students and staff.

Essential Criteria

To be considered for this role, you must have:
  • City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in a relevant trade
  • Gas Safe registration (CCN1) and CODNCO1 qualification
  • Experience in commercial gas and plumbing maintenance
  • A full, clean UK driving licence
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out reactive and planned maintenance on plumbing and mechanical systems
  • Service and repair boilers, heating plant, AHUs, and water systems
  • Conduct statutory testing (e.g. PAT, fire alarms, fire doors)
  • Maintain accurate records for compliance and asset management
  • Support stock management and assist colleagues across trades
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with health and safety regulations
