Manufacturing Engineer

A globally high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their manufacturing department with the appointment of a Manufacturing Engineer.
As Manufacturing Engineer, you will ensure all manufacturing requirements are communicated in detail through the relevant departments and provide support throughout the organisation.
Working from their manufacturing facility in the West Midlands, the Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for:
*Create FMEA’s, Process Flows, Control Plans, Work Instructions, Gauge Instructions, PPAP submissions, Packing Instructions, and other process documents.
*NPI projects from initially process design and layout stage, through to full launch.
*Dealing with new and existing suppliers to introduce new machines, tools and equipment.
*Responsible for buy-off process for new machines and tools.
*Introduce Poka Yoke systems to meet customer expectations.
*Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) on current production.
The successful candidate should be educated to degree level in engineering or HNC/HND.
You should be able to demonstrate detailed knowledge and experience in current production and new product introduction.
You should have at least 2-3 years experience within the Manufacturing industry, excellent communication skills as this role will be the direct interface between manufacturing and the client.
