Manufacturing Engineer Tooling & Design Focus ?? Church Gresley, near Swadlincote, UK ?? Up to £45,000 | Full-Time | Flexible WFH (Ideally On-Site 5 Days/Week)
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a strong understanding of tooling and basic design to join our team in Church Gresley. This is a hands-on, site-based role supporting a wide range of engineering activities, from tooling support to new product development.
?? The Role Youll play a key part in driving improvements across our manufacturing processes, supporting both ongoing production and new projects. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting and developing tooling we manage over 1000 tools
Investigating and resolving shop floor issues including damaged tooling and rejected parts
Performing root cause analysis on tooling problems and implementing corrective actions
Working on New Product Development (NPD) projects at the ME level
Reviewing and amending CAD designs checking, signing off and holding design authority
Collaborating with design teams using a recognised CAD/design package (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, etc.)
