Manufacturing Engineer – Sheffield (Onsite) Excellent salary + exceptional benefits package
I’m working exclusively with a global engineering manufacturer that’s looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join their advanced production team in Sheffield. This is a hands-on role focused on machining, tooling, and process improvement within a high-precision manufacturing environment. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop efficient production methods, solve technical challenges, and drive continuous improvement using Lean principles.
The Role Develop and implement manufacturing and tooling processes . Create and maintain manufacturing plans for complex machined components. Support production with technical problem-solving and process optimisation . Apply Lean and continuous improvement principles to improve efficiency. Collaborate across engineering, quality, and production teams on new projects.
About You Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or related field. Experience in a manufacturing or machining environment . Skilled in CNC / fabrication / assembly and 3D CAD systems (e.g. SolidWorks, Inventor, or CATIA). Strong problem-solving ability and hands-on approach to process development. Confident working in a team-based, continuous improvement environment.
Preferred: Experience in aerospace, precision, or advanced manufacturing , and knowledge of ERP/MRP systems such as SAP.
