Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes are recruiting a manufacturing engineer for a client of ours in the Bristol area.

The Role: As a Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing and optimising production methods to support high-quality aerospace manufacturing. You'll work cross-functionally to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure that manufacturing processes meet the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, implement and refine manufacturing processes for aerospace components

* Create 3D models and CNC programs using CAD/CAM tools (SolidWorks and SolidCAM)

* Troubleshoot and resolve production challenges on the shop floor

* Specify and maintain tooling, jigs, fixtures, and equipment

* Lead continuous improvement and Lean initiatives

* Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and other aerospace regulations

* Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and process transfer projects

The Candidate:

* Proven experience in a manufacturing engineering role, ideally in aerospace
