What You’ll Be Doing Develop and improve manufacturing documentation, tooling instructions, and inspection processes to keep production running smoothly. Lead cross-functional projects that boost efficiency, quality, and reliability on the shop floor. Use data, analysis, and lean techniques to uncover opportunities for continuous improvement. Explore new methods, automation technologies, and smarter layouts to enhance performance. Support maintenance and tooling teams to ensure equipment is ready and reliable. Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable fixes. Measure and report performance metrics, helping turn insights into tangible results.
What You’ll Bring HND (or higher) in a mechanical or manufacturing discipline, plus strong CAD skills (SolidWorks experience a bonus). Manufacturing engineering experience, ideally in aerospace or precision engineering. A proven track record of delivering improvement projects that make a measurable difference. Strong understanding of Lean tools such as DMAIC, 5 Whys, and 8D. Confident communicator who enjoys working with people across all levels and departments. Skilled in ERP/MRP systems, data analysis, and technical documentation. Analytical, curious, and driven by results – someone who takes ownership and follows through.
