Our Client, a leading company in the aerospace industry, is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer (NPI/NPD Lead) to join their dynamic team on a contract basis in Warwickshire.

Role Summary:

As a Manufacturing Engineer (NPI/NPD Lead), you will play a crucial role in leading NPI/NPD projects within the fast-paced aerospace sector. Your responsibilities will include integrating new customer requirements and products into existing manufacturing processes, collaborating closely with key aerospace clients.

Responsibilities:

• Lead NPI/NPD projects from initiation to completion
• Communicate technical requirements with customers and provide regular updates
• Delegate tasks and supervise the engineering team
• Develop documentation, SOPs, and project plans for new processes
• Offer technical expertise in pressing, forming, welding, and fabrication

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proven track record in leading NPI/NPD projects
• Proficiency in forming, welding, and fabrication processes
• Hands-on experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Prior experience in the aerospace industry
• Required: DBS and Right to Work checks

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Additional aerospace industry experience would be advantageous
