Fantastic opportunity to take ownership of manufacturing engineering processes and equipment to make improvements to production whilst developing new skills and techniques.
Salary: Circa £43,500 depending on experience.
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 4-5 days per week on-site due to workload classification.

Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:
An opening on the manufacturing lines for a support engineer responsible for translating design requirements into user instructions and developing project manufacturing architecture. You will support operations staff within the manufacturing facility and grow your manufacturing knowledge through work on industrial validation, manufacturing architecture, and factory of the future principles.
Working with the Principal Engineer, you will handle multiple projects related to manufacturing problem identification and resolution, including support for existing lines, new product introduction, validation, configuration control, non-conformance, safety, design for manufacture, and tooling development.
What we're looking for from you:
- Formal technical Engineering/Craft Apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3 and a relevant HNC or equivalent qualification
- OR BEng in relevant Engineering
- Proactive problem-solving skills and commitment to meeting delivery milestones
- Ability to interpret design drawings and produce manufacturing instructions
- Teamwork and effective communication skills, familiar with digital platforms
