Team Jobs is currently seeking a candidate with Manufacturing Engineer experience in Portsmouth.\n\nJob Summary:\n\nThe Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for planning / designing new manufacturing processes and reviewing existing processes in an industrial plant. This role focuses on maximizing efficiency by analyzing equipment layout, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization to achieve optimal operational performance.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nAnalyze the layout of equipment and workflow and implement improvements to improve efficiency.\n\nCollaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of processes across the facility.\n\nDocument and maintain all process-related documents and ensure compliance with business and industry standards.\n\nProvide support and training to operators and staff on new processes or equipment setups.\n\nProvide support to maintenance teams to maintain equipment availability.\n\nQualifications:\n\nBachelor's degree or a recognised apprenticeship in Engineering (or related field)\n\nRelevant experience in manufacturing or a related area.\n\nProven capabilities and knowledge of Lean concepts, and practices, applicable in a manufacturing field.\n\nMust be able to operate effectively independently.\n\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nStrong communication and teamwork skills.\n\n2D or 3D CAD skills essential\n\nReporting Structure:\n\nReports to Engineering Manager, with primary job functions that require independent judgment.\n\nThis position is ideal for candidates seeking a dynamic and challenging role in a manufacturing environment with opportunities for professional growth.\n\nJob type: Full time\n\nMonday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:45 and \n\nFriday - 08:00 - 12:00 \n\nPay Rate - £30-£35 depending on experience.\n\nDrug screening is required before the agreed start. \n\nIf you are interested in this position and would like to know more, please apply with an up-to-date CV as soon as possible and speak to one of our team members.
