Pay: £38,000.00-£42,500.00 per year Job Description: At WorkLyf Group, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Process Engineer with strong experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) and Bill of Materials (BOM) control to join our client. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring seamless product launches, and maintaining accurate BOMs to support production efficiency and quality. Responsibilities Lead and support New Product Introduction projects by collaborating with technical, manufacturing, and quality teams to develop efficient and scalable production processes. Develop, document, and implement process workflows, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new and existing products. Manage and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) data in the ERP system, ensuring alignment with engineering specifications and production requirements. Analyse production processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities; implement improvements accordingly. Coordinate cross-functional communication between Technical, procurement, manufacturing, and quality teams during product development and launch phases. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions related to process or BOM discrepancies. Support pilot runs and process validation activities to ensure products meet quality and performance standards. Monitor process metrics and provide regular reports on NPI progress and BOM status to stakeholders. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the manufacturing process. Qualifications Bachelors degree in mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience (5+ years) in process engineering with a focus on New Product Introduction. Strong knowledge of Bill of Materials management and control within ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.). Familiarity with manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principles, and quality standards. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively across departments. Proficiency in CAD software, process simulation tools, and MS Office Suite. Preferred Experience in Engineering and manufacturing. Certification in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or related process improvement methodologies.
