The role
will include using numerical tools to look into aspect of submarine and ship structures to enable the current UK fleet to operate and improve the tools and design for future platforms. At the culmination of each project, you will be responsible for the development of key deliverables, design reports and documentation, as well as briefing the customer on the work and the findings.Whilst the role has a specific focus, there will be opportunities to be involved in the group’s wider work streams, which include propulsor and propeller design, dynamic stability, quasi-static stability, seakeeping, resistance and propulsion of surface ships and submarines.
