Key Responsibilities:
Utilising Solidworks to create detailed assembly drawings for complex multi-part assemblies
Producing drawings for electronic assemblies, although experience with other types of assemblies is also beneficial
Applying knowledge of common manufacturing processes involved in electronics and box build processes
Delivering strong technical presentations, both written and verbal
Receiving feedback from senior design sign-offs and updating drawings accordingly
Adhering to tight deadlines while maintaining a keen eye for detail
Job Requirements:
Experience with Solidworks, including drawing creation
Proven track record in producing assembly drawings for complex multi-part assemblies
Understanding of common manufacturing processes involved in electronics and box build processes
Strong written and verbal presentation skills
Ability to handle feedback and update designs appropriately
Attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines
Desirable Skills:
Hands-on electronics manufacturing experience (e.g., soldering, box build, staking, conformal coating)
Relevant IPC standard qualification (even if expired)
Contextual knowledge of aircraft systems and aerospace processes
Experience with avionics packaging
Familiarity with Engineering Change Order processes
Experience with Solidworks PDM
