Capgemini Engineering is looking to recruit Design Engineers with knowledge of non-conformance within an aerospace/marine engineering background.
Hybrid working: The work location will vary between company offices, client sites, and your home, depending on role, needs, and business requirements. Note that full-time remote work is not available.
Pre-employment checks include: verification of immigration status, employment history for the past 3 years, and a criminal record check (Disclosure and Barring Service).
Your Role
- Assessment of non-conformance via Concession/Deviation Permit/DAR
- Issuing reports to support disposition
- Writing Technical Assessment Reports (TARs)
- Assessing engineering drawings
- Performing tolerancing calculations and bolt checks
- Liaising with non-conformance specialists
- Following procedures and specifications
- Applying Design for Manufacture (DfM) best practices

Your Skills and Experience
- Experience designing aero/marine-engine systems and components (e.g., compressor, turbine, bearings, seals)
- Knowledge of aerospace/marine manufacturing processes (desirable)
- Manufacturing, Producibility, Concession, NCE, SAR, DAR, TAD, AR, PDG experience (desirable)
- Ability to work efficiently to meet client needs
- Experience liaising with stress and materials specialists
- Team player with effective communication skills in English
- Proactive attitude and reporting skills
