A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a world-class established company to work on the development of novel photonic quantum networking solutions, based in Cambridge.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will have a number of core responsibilities that include:
  • Designing product packaging
  • Integration of optical devices
  • Productisation
  • Creating controls and interfaces
  • Supporting the manufacture of prototypes
    • To be considered for the Mechanical Design Engineering role you must have experience in making mechanical drawings/documentation for manufacture, proficiency with 3D Cad modelling, experience in prototype electronic and optical setups, and worked closely with optical, mechanical, software, and electronic specialists.
