We’re looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join an innovative company (with excellent benefits!) based in Hook, Hampshire, who operate in the electronics sector . This role supports the development and adaptation of mechanical solutions across the product range, which includes electrical components, cables, and CCTV. The role provides hands-on experience in product design, testing, and technical documentation. Design, create prototyping, and run the testing of mechanical components for (but not exclusive to) medical devices. Use CAD software to create these detailed designs and 2D/3D. Collaborate with our manufacturing teams in the UK and Asia to ensure designs are successfully translated into production, addressing any design or process issues that arise during the product development process. Support the design and development of products in line with relevant industry regulations, including but not exclusive to ISO 9001 & ISO 13485. Support the preparation of technical documentation, including datasheets, manuals, and installation guides. Participate in the ongoing optimisation of design processes to enhance product quality, reduce time to-market, and improve cost-efficiency.
