Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Warrington, England Hybrid - Full Time

About the role: Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using SolidWorks Develop design solutions for systems operating in extreme environments (nuclear, fusion, space, subsea) Perform tolerance analysis and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to take designs from concept to manufacture Support design reviews, risk assessments, and project documentation

About you: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline Proficiency in SolidWorks (3D modelling and 2D drafting) Experience in one or more of the following sectors: nuclear, fusion, space, or subsea Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical principles Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
