FJA is working with a reputable and forward-thinking business, specialising in the Water and Wastewater Industry.

Mechanical Design Engineer Role:

You will report directly to the Engineering Lead.

Key responsibilities of the Mechanical Design Engineer:

Produce electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation designs that are cost-effective and meet client specifications
Produce and check all design specifications, schedules, drawings, and calculations
Ensure designs comply with CDM Regulations
Utilize standard designs and practices where possible
Deliver design outputs within agreed timescales and budgets
Coordinate design outputs across disciplines
Prepare monthly project status reports
Establish relationships with construction staff and supply chain to promote buildability and efficiency

About the Mechanical Design Engineer:

Degree or equivalent qualification
Chartered in a relevant construction discipline
Experience in the Water Treatment Industry
Knowledge of CDM and Construction Health & Safety
