Our clients based close to Fareham have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing Engineering team. They are seeking an experienced engineer, with a passion for mechanical design and projects! Responsibilities: • Preparation of project plans with associated budget, resource requirements and schedule as required. • Working closely with cross-functional business teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to cost constraints. • Management of a mix of multi-project portfolio ranging from short duration express projects and more complex longer duration engineering projects. • Management of projects through their lifespan in line with best practice project management processes. • Liaison with all relevant internal and external stakeholders to manage expectations and communicate status. • Negotiation and capture of project technical and cost variations whether arising from the customer’s requirements or internally originated. • Management of project requirement changes and scope creep with customer approval received for change management and invoicing accurately and on time. • Creation and management of project related documentation throughout the project lifecycle. • Ensure designs and products meet codes of practice and recognised standards applicable to the company and/or the customer. • Apply due diligence and make best efforts to comply ...
