Overview

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing client on the South Coast! This would suit a candidate who is based close by or someone who is willing to relocate to the South Coast.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years' + experience working in a Mechanical Design role designing Injection Moulded plastic and die cast parts and components or similar.

Hybrid working after probation.

Responsibilities

  • Design from concept for manufacture injection moulded, die cast and similar parts
  • Technically assist the manufacturing department during the building of prototype samples
  • Understanding of tolerances ideal

Qualifications

  • Proficient in 3D CAD with CATIA V5 being the preferred software. Will consider other CAD software package
