We're working on behalf of an established and growing engineering company based in Poole that's looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer. This is a hands-on, varied role within a fast-paced environment—ideal for someone who enjoys technical challenges and working across all areas of engineering.

You'll play a key role in new product development, continuous improvement, quality assurance, and production support—working collaboratively across departments to ensure efficient, effective engineering outcomes.

Key Responsibilities: Design new products and improve existing ones using 3D CAD (Inventor, SolidWorks, etc.). Support cross-functional teams including Design, Production, and Purchasing. Create and maintain build documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Conduct product and prototype testing; implement findings into the product range. Update engineering drawings and manage changes. Support QA procedures, including first-off inspections and supplier approvals.
