This vacancy welcomes applicants from all departments. Responsibilities

Design and develop special machine options to meet customer specifications Ensure all designs are safe, reliable, and compliant with relevant legislation and standards Engineer, design, and detail mechanical components and assemblies using CREO Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including parts lists, assembly instructions, CE technical files, and liaising with European Engineering machine manuals Collaborate closely with YMX, Production, and other internal teams to ensure feasibility and alignment Research and evaluate emerging technologies for integration into machine options Manage procurement of special components and liaise with suppliers for technical support Provide hands-on technical assistance to production and service engineers during build and post-delivery phases Operate as part of the European HQ team, working cross-functionally to deliver custom machine solutions across the wider Mazak organisation

The Person Essential Criteria

Engineering Technical qualification to HNC level or above Minimum 3 years experience designing parts for machine tools IT Literate in all Microsoft Office packages CAD Experience (CREO is desirable) Self-motivation, good time management and flexible Good communication, presentation skills and team player A good understanding of engineering core principles Working well with people of all abilities Methodical and systematic with good problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (Mechanical)

Desirable Criteria

Windchill Experience Basic ability to read and interpret mechanical Pneumatic, Hydraulic circuits (Pending background) Risk assessment experience and an appreciation of health and safety requirements Defining and documenting assembly procedures
