We pride ourselves on delivering innovative, high-quality solutions for our blue-chip clients.The RoleWe’re seeking a proactive and motivated Mechanical Engineer to support a range of exciting projects across multiple industrial sites in the North West. You’ll be involved from concept to completion—designing, developing, installing, and maintaining machinery, systems, and processes to solve real-world challenges and improve operational efficiency.This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll need to be comfortable working on-site, adapting quickly to changing priorities, and delivering work to the highest professional standards.What You’ll DoProvide mechanical solutions from design through to installation.Support and maintain manufacturing equipment—particularly in FMCG and pharmaceutical environments.Repair and overhaul motors, pumps, valves, bearings, and shafts.Modify and improve existing machinery and manufacturing lines.Work with utilities (compressed air, steam, water) and adapt piping systems.Fabricate, fit, and assemble components to technical drawings.Operate fabrication tools and plant equipment (training/licences provided if needed).Offer engineering expertise to our project management team.What We’re Looking ForTime-served or apprentice-trained mechanical or electrical engineer.Experience in a similar role, ideally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Strong bench fitting and machining skills.Solid understanding of design principles, materials, and technical drawings (CAD).Skilled in problem-solving, RCA, and continuous improvement.Ability to work independently or as part of a team, meeting tight deadlines.Excellent communication skills and confidence in a client-facing role.Basic Microsoft Office skills for reports and spreadsheets.Desirable but not essentialExperience working at height (MEWP/Scissor Lift).Background in blue-chip manufacturing.IOSH certification.What We Offer£40,000–£50,000 salary (depending on experience).23 days holiday + Bank Holidays (rising to 25 days after probation).Company pension scheme.Regular training and professional development.Inclusive employee benefits, including gym membership.If you’re a problem-solver with hands-on skills, pride in your work, and a passion for engineering excellence, we’d love to hear from you.Apply now and join a team where your expertise makes a real difference. #J-18808-Ljbffr
