Mechanical Engineer West Sussex - Industrial We are currently working with a well-established MEP contractor operating throughout the UK in a range of sectors including, education, healthcare, technology and commercial. There is an urgent need for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their team on a range of Industrial projects in West Sussex. Responsibilities Technical Support to Mechanical Installation: Provide engineering support for the full mechanical scope, including HVAC, pipework, and public health systems. Ensure installations are technically compliant with project specifications and design intent. Coordination of Design & Construction Information: Review mechanical drawings, schematics, and submittals. Flag discrepancies, manage RFIs, and coordinate with consultants, BIM teams, and subcontractors to ensure accurate and buildable information on-site. Material Take-Offs & Procurement Assistance: Prepare accurate take-offs for mechanical systems, support procurement processes, and coordinate with the site team to ensure timely delivery of plant, equipment, and materials. Quality Assurance & Inspections: Conduct inspections and support the development of QA documentation including checklists, test packs, and commissioning records.
