Mechanical Maintenance Engineer\n Based in Warwick – Covering the Midlands\n Up to £40,000 + Company Vehicle + Excellent Benefits\n\nA long-established Mechanical & Electrical Contractor with over 50 years’ experience is looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their friendly, professional team.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou’ll be carrying out reactive and planned maintenance across a variety of commercial and domestic sites including offices, schools, health centres, hotels, care homes, and residential properties.\nTypical duties include:\n\n * \n\n Diagnosing and repairing leaks, boilers, and heating issues\n\n * \n\n Servicing hot and cold-water systems, heating, and ventilation\n\n * \n\n Supporting post-project defect periods (12–24 months)\n\n * \n\n Liaising with clients and reporting on works completed\n\nWork is primarily within the Midlands, mainly around Birmingham and Warwick, with occasional travel to nearby areas.\n\nRequirements\n\n✅ Minimum 5 years’ experience in a maintenance or installation role\n✅ NVQ in Plumbing and/or Heating & Ventilation\n✅ Gas Safe qualified (Domestic as a minimum)\n✅ Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence\n✅ Strong customer service and communication skills\n✅ Able to work independently with a positive, proactive approach\n\nPackage & Benefits\n\n * \n\n Salary circa £40,000\n\n * \n\n Company vehicle (business use), PPE & uniform provided\n\n * \n\n 25 days holiday + bank holidays\n\n * \n\n Westfield Health Cash Plan\n\n * \n\n NEST pension scheme\n\n * \n\n Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (1-hour lunch)
