iSQ Recruitment is supporting a food manufacturer in Suffolk with their search for a Level 3 qualified Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. As the site continues to grow its customer base, they are in the process of significantly adding to their Engineering team. The successful candidate will have hands-onTIG welding and machining experience, and a strong background in food manufacturing — ideally meat processing.

This role is a mixture of

12-hour day & night shifts

on a 3-weekly rotation. The successful candidate must have a

full UK driving license

with

access to their own vehicle .

Key Deliverables

• Ensure that the facilities, layout, and machinery run to maximum efficiency. • Preventative / reactive / proactive maintenance. • All natures of electrical breakdowns.

Qualifications & Criteria

• Qualified Engineer in relevant discipline / nationally recognised qualification (minimum Level 3 required in Mechanical Engineering) • Experienced in tig welding, lathes, and milling machines • Extensive plant environment experience; food industry essential (meat industry would be advantageous) • Must have full Right to Work in the UK • Must have full UK driving license & access to own vehicle
