Adecco are recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, to join our local client on a permanent basis in North Ayrshire. Who are a leading manufacturing of products worldwide.You will have many responsibilities, some will include:Maintain and repair all production and process manufacturing equipmentTo undertake tasks in line with maintenance requisition requestsTo conduct PPM (planned preventative maintenance) tasks as requiredTo prioritise workload in liaison with Engineering Manager, to provide the most effective maintenance service possible thus maximising production outputEnsure area of responsibility housekeeping is of a high standardComplete engineering projects as assigned by managementActively engage with suppliers to improve service levels and reduce costsEnsure that all Quality Systems are followedExperience of working within a COMAH site a distinct advantageTo be considered you must have the following:Experience in a manufacturing / engineering environmentSelf-motivated individual with ability to lead by exampleGood team player but can work on own when requiredGood timekeeper, flexible & willing to work out with normal hours, if requiredKnowledge of pneumatic circuits and demonstratable fault finding skillsElectrical controls knowledge - plc's, invertors etcComputer literateFlexible and adaptable approach to work to meet business requirementsExcellent communication and customer services skillsTo discuss this fantastic opportunity further, please send your CV in todayAdecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
