Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Ensure all statutory records are kept up to date and available for inspection Be aware of and have good working understanding and practical hands-on input regarding control of legionella and associated required works. Other duties may include but are not limited to:  Water hygiene checks - L8 checks  Emergency lighting checks  Daily, weekly and monthly PPM checks  Basic electrics depending upon qualifications (competency)  Clearing and tidying up of common areas, plant rooms, store rooms etc  Repairing safety hazards  Installation of appliances and machines  Liaison with contractors and suppliers (control of permits, escorting duties, managing safety)  Managing deliveries of items  Attend reactive breakdowns actively triaging intervention or sub contractor call outs  Complete/ assist completion of PPM regimes  Monitor stock and start ordering procedure  Ensure all records are up-to-date  Meter readings Other Escalate Health & Safety, Environmental and Operational issues and incidents as required by the escalation procedure Assist the Site Team in the production of a monthly report and action plan to monitor progress against targets Be a proactive member of the team, with a hands-on approach and positive attitude, working with the Site FM to ensure first class TFM service delivery Additional duties as required from time to time
Equipment and day to duties include but not limited to: Pumps, Compressors, Chillers, Dryers.
We're looking for a multi skilled engineer but they need some plumbing experience. The employee that left was a Mechanical, Gas and Plumbing Engineer so that's what we need again ideally
