OverviewMechanical Maintenance Engineer role for a London-based higher education institution. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned, reactive, and corrective maintenance of mechanical systems including ventilation, AHUs, FCUs, chilled water systems, heating, boilers, pumps, and general plumbing.Support electrical maintenance as required and assist with general fabric works when needed.Work with contractors and internal teams to ensure compliance with statutory regulations, health & safety, and best industry practice (SFG20).Participate in emergency response, audits, and resilience activities.Maintain accurate asset records, SOPs, and EOPs.QualificationsCity & Guilds Level 3 in Mechanical Installations/Maintenance or equivalent apprenticeship.Strong experience in mechanical maintenance of building services.Knowledge of health & safety and statutory compliance.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and IT skills.DetailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeIndustry: Higher EducationWe are looking for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading London-based institution.
