Mechanical Pump Engineer (Field Based)

to join a well-established pump solutions company covering

Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Bedfordshire ! Youll work on a variety of clean water and wastewater systems, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, repairs, fault-finding, and installations. This includes booster sets, pressurisation units, pumping stations, submersible pumps, and associated pipework/valve systems. Youll work both independently, and part of a two-person team for larger projects. Nights away are very rare. This is a

Full-Time, Permanent

position! What youll be doing Carry out mechanical servicing, installations, and commissioning of pumps, booster sets, valves, and pipework Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to optimise system performance Work on both clean water and wastewater systems, including submersibles and sewage pumping stations Attend planned maintenance visits and respond to emergency breakdowns Complete accurate site reports and liaise with office support teams Work independently and as part of a team depending on project requirements Deliver excellent customer service and maintain safe working practices Hours Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm (flexibility required) Pay £38,000

£40,000 basic (depending on experience) with an

OTE up to £50,000

with overtime and bonuses Overtime at time Double pay on Sundays First-fix bonus Call-out allowance/bonus Skills/Experience Required Essential Mechanical engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, Apprenticeship etc) Mechanical experience with pumps, valves, pipework, or similar systems A valid UK driving licence Preferred Background in utilities, water treatment, or drainage CSCS, First Aid, or Confined Space training Benefits Competitive salary Overtime available and paid at premium rates Generous bonus structure Company pension scheme 23 days holiday plus bank holidays Company van, tools, and all expenses covered Free on-site parking Ongoing training and development Flexible working Essential All applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK (sponsorship not provided).
