About the Role

A well-established engineering firm is seeking an experienced Senior Mechatronics Engineer to join its technical team. The successful candidate will lead the design, development, and integration of electromechanical systems across a range of industrial applications, including control panels, embedded electronics, and automation systems.

This is a hands-on role requiring collaboration across design, production, and quality teams to deliver innovative solutions for both new build and refurbishment projects.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development of mechatronic systems for industrial applications. Integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components into cohesive systems. Produce and review technical documentation including schematics and wiring diagrams. Support prototype builds, testing, and validation activities. Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure technical requirements are met. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvement initiatives.Requirements

Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years' experience in a mechatronics or systems engineering role. Strong understanding of embedded systems, PLCs, and control systems. Experience in automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, or other safety-critical industries is preferred.
