Migration Support Engineer

A leading bank is looking for a Migration Support Engineer to join their Virtual Desktop Infrastructure and App Volumes Packaging team on a long-term contract basis where they will lead and assist with the VDI migration issues within EMEA.

Required Skillset:

  • Hands-on virtual desktop, virtual servers and virtual infrastructure experience (VDI)
  • Windows 10 & 11 experience
  • Previous experience working on a persistent to stateless migration project
  • Strong stakeholder management experience/ good communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of VMware, including vCenter (VC), Horizon Cloud Service (HCS), Application Virtualization Manager (AVM), vSAN, and Network File System (NFS) 
  • Ability to execute pre-built PowerShell scripts 
  • Banking experience

    • *Based in Camberley office - 3 days per week*
