OverviewMobile Air Conditioning EngineerResponsibilitiesComplete all PPM and reactive works within a technical environment, with the ability to work on own initiative and supervise where required.Manage client assets in a critical environment within the Telecommunications sector to provide a level of service that meets engineering excellence.Ensure compliance with H&S regulations, Risk Assessments, F-Gas (Cat 1), Low Voltage Safe Systems of Work, COSHH, and related requirements.Undertake and complete PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within relevant SLAs.Deliver tasks to exceed customer expectations and provide a professional service representing the company to ensure customer satisfaction.Predominantly air conditioning duties with first line reactive maintenance for electrical and switchgear issues.Carry out occasional planned night working as per PPM schedule.Carry out contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring contractor workmanship and issuing Permits to Work.Ensure equipment operates to specified performance criteria and that equipment and surrounding areas conform to company standards.Provide asset information updates as part of the PPM process and maintain required documentation/records accurately.Engage in proactive client liaison and relay concerns to management as necessary, staying aware of contractual requirements and customer needs at all times.Qualifications & ExperienceEducational qualifications: Air Conditioning – City and Guilds 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants or CITB J11 Equivalent; NVQ 2/3 or City & Guilds in Commercial Refrigeration and AC Systems.Desirable: Qualified Electrician 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671:2008); Recognised apprenticeship in air conditioning with a strong understanding of Electrical fundamentals and LV distribution.Experience/Understanding of the following plant & equipment: Static UPS, DC systems, Emergency Generators & changeover, Chillers/Chilled Water distribution networks, LV Switchgear/distribution.Significant experience in multi-discipline reactive and PPM building services maintenance within a data centre or critical environment.Experience working under Health & Safety procedures including Electrical Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), Risk Assessments and Method Statements.Low Voltage Authorised Person; IPAF/PASMA; IOSH.BenefitsCompetitive Salary + Van + Fuel card + OvertimeGreat career opportunity with a leading FM & Engineering company #J-18808-Ljbffr
