Location: Bristol & Southwest Area

Working Hours: 08:30 - 17:00 (with out of hours work as required)

Role Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a Mobile Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join our team. The area predominantly covered is Bristol & Southwest. The purpose of the role is to operate within the PAM division supporting the mobile and site-based engineers delivering M&E PPM and associated remedial works as well as reactive works as per site requests.

Day to Day ResponsibilitiesService Delivery & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with agreed-upon terms and service level agreements

• Ensure that the contract efficiently meets all the relevant KPI & SLA requirements

• Carry out PPM and reactive works both in and out of hours

• Comply with standard operating procedures (SOPs) for contract delivery

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards

Technical Operations

• Complete PPM works and reporting to required standards

• Be available to attend or manage critical call outs and provide written reports as required

• Prepare the basis of quotes for remedial works required

• Ensure the annual testing of your tools and equipment are kept up to date

• Assist in production of quotes as required

Administration & Technology

• Utilise facilities management software to complete and load worksheets immediately after job completion on the day

• Procure materials in coordination with the Lead Engineer or Assistant Contract Delivery Manager

Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Skills & QualificationsEssential Qualifications

• Minimum of City & Guilds electrical qualification

• 18th Edition certification

• UK Driving Licence essential

Desirable Qualifications

• Electrical Testing & Inspection

• Mechanical experience (desirable but not essential)

Technical Skills

• Good knowledge of electrical services

• Sound knowledge of Tablet applications

• Experience working in commercial settings

• Sound level of administration and organisational skills

• Ability to develop a good understanding of customers' business requirements

• Initiative and proactive approach to all tasks undertaken

• High standard of workmanship

• Conscientious and reliable

• Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Willingness to work overtime when required

Working Arrangements

There is no call out rota with this position however you will be expected to work out of hours/weekends from time to time to supervise teams carrying out Fan Coil Maintenance and other essential maintenance. The on-call requirement may change in the future.
