Responsibilities

Our Mobile Engineers are responsible for the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of trolleys and other mechanical items used in retail environments. This role requires a combination of mechanical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to ensure the reliability and efficiency of trolley operations. Engineers work mainly from a custom fitted vehicle at client sites performing routine maintenance and inspections predominantly on trolleys, ensuring they are in optimal working condition. This will involve liaising with store managers and the Wanzl office both verbally and using IT systems. Health and safety is our top priority. We provide comprehensive training and upskilling.

What We Need From You

  • A solid mechanical understanding and knowledge
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • The ability to work independently, reliably and punctually
  • Previous experience in MIG welding advantageous
  • A valid driver's license is essential
  • Ability for an occasional overnight stay away
  • Capable of using IT systems

Hours of work

4 x 12 hour shifts per week, either Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday
