Mobile Engineer – South East
Location: South East England (Mobile)
 

About the Role
Wates Property Services is looking for a skilled and motivated Mobile Engineer to join our team, providing high-quality maintenance and repair services across residential and commercial properties in the South East region.

As a Mobile Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our clients receive prompt, professional, and effective service. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites
  • Diagnose and repair faults in building services systems
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed
  • Liaise with clients and colleagues to ensure excellent service delivery
  • Travel across the South East region as required
  • What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in a similar mobile engineering role
  • Relevant trade qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
  • Given the nature of this position, you will need to undergo a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS) at offer stage.
