…a well-established and growing engineering business who specialise in heavy plant, forklift, agricultural and material handling equipment. They are now looking for a Mobile Service Engineer to join their team, supporting clients across the Glasgow region.
The Role
Carry out planned maintenance, servicing, and repairs on heavy plant, forklift trucks, and material handling equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults (mechanical bias preferred, but electrical skills highly valued).
Support breakdown callouts when required (optional callout rota).
Deliver a high standard of customer service, representing the company on-site.
Complete all required job documentation accurately and on time.
The Candidate
Strong background in mechanical engineering (diesel engines, hydraulics, transmissions).
Some knowledge of electrical systems – electrical bias would be a strong advantage.
Experience in plant, forklift, agricultural machinery, or material handling equipment.
A proactive, flexible approach with the ability to work independently.
