Due to continued business growth, we are looking for a Mobile Service Engineer to join our dedicated Service Division. This field-based role will predominantly cover the south of England.

Role Overview:

As a Mobile Service Engineer, you’ll work independently, travelling to customer sites to service, maintain, and repair specialist Impact Protection Vehicles (IPVs), trailers, and bespoke traffic management equipment.

You’ll play a vital role in upholding our reputation for high-quality service and engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair faults in vehicle-mounted traffic management equipment and trailers
  • Conduct routine maintenance and field modifications
  • Complete service documentation accurately and promptly
  • Maintain your service van, tools, and supplies
  • Build strong relationships with customers through professional communication
  • Stay informed on industry updates and innovations
  • Identify potential opportunities for additional services or equipment
  • Provide estimates and repair advice to customers when needed
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies
  • What We’re Looking For:

  • Hands-on experience with 12/24v electrical systems and basic hydraulic systems
  • Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams and technical drawings
  • Previous experience maintaining or repairing HGVs
  • Traffic management equipment experience is an advantage but not essential
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • A proactive, positive, and team-oriented attitude
  • Desire to learn and grow within the role
  • Full UK driving licence
