Are you an experienced and dependable, with a passion for engineering and problem-solving? Join our trusted, family-run company est. 1957 as a Welder Service Engineer, supporting our Vehicle Body shop customers across the UK with service, repair, and installation of welding equipment.

*About the Role:*
We’re looking for a skilled individual to become a key part of our engineering team. This field-based role will be regionally based however it involves travelling to customer sites nationwide, delivering high-quality servicing, maintenance, and diagnostics on a wide range of welding and associated equipment.
Training will be provided however a knowledge of electrical & mechanical engineering and any Automotive experience would be preferable, you must have a hands on approach and be able to work on your own initiative. A company commercial vehicle will be provided and you must be prepared to travel and stay away from home for 3-4 nights per week.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Salary based, 40+ hours per week
Standard weekday working (no regular weekends or shift work)
Regular overnight stays will be required (fully expensed)
*Key Responsibilities:*
Service, repair, and maintain welding equipment and systems
Diagnose faults and provide effective on-site solutions
Carry out equipment installations and routine maintenance
Deliver excellent customer service as a brand ambassador
Accurately complete service reports and documentation
*What We’re Looking For:*
Proven experience in welding and/or servicing welding equipment
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Self-motivated with a professional and friendly approach
Comfortable with nationwide travel and working independently

Competitive salary Starts at £*28, 500* plus commission (based on experience can be up to £*35,000* per annum Inc. commission)
