Multi- Skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Are you an electrical maintenance engineer looking for a new challenge? Due to the introduction of a new line, we are expanding the current maintenance team. Ideally, we are looking for a Multi-Skilled engineer with a electrical bias, but we are open to speaking to electrically biased engineers too. With a very settled team this role is available to a recent promotion to engineering team leader.
Over the last couple of years the site have recently installed a new CMMS system and stores, with new lines and an overhaul project recently completed. While this is a fast paced food manufacturing environment, we will consider engineers from all backgrounds, including engineers exiting the forces.
Responsibilities of a multi-skilled electrical maintenance engineer: Both reactive and planned maintenance on high-speed packing machinery. Undertake machine start up routine and non-routine planned shutdown as required. To undertake full diagnosis and implement corrective actions to minimise downtime. To communicate machine status and performance across shift. Working in partnership with the production team and ensuring optimum output. Qualifications required to become an electrical maintenance engineer: Time served or Apprentice Trained Engineer. NVQ, BTEC, City and Guilds Level 3 either Mechanically or Electrically
