OverviewMulti Skilled Engineer Electrical Bias role at Facilities Management Intrapreneur Ltd. Location: Gatwick Airport. Working pattern: Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm.ResponsibilitiesIdentify and manage risks to the client through on-site equipment, including updating drawings, identifying critical spares, improving machine performance, and implementing the preventative maintenance program.Use new equipment and technologies to maintain a safe production environment; liaise with the client on requests for specific machinery PPMs.Fault finding on all types of machinery.Support others in the department on Health and Safety matters.Provide Electrical and Mechanical expertise to the Maintenance Department.Write and follow Risk Assessments; be available to question any issues arising from them safely and accurately.Complete required documentation as specified by rules and legislation.Work on Three Phase Systems with voltages up to 440V.Work on motors, gearboxes, valves, and hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.Use mobile devices to project and complete works from the CAFM Maintenance System.Use email and calendars to plan daily work requirements to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.Liaise with onsite Site Services to manage Building Services related issues, responding confidently and accurately as required.Act as the responsible person when required for the department and deputise the Shift Leader during annual leave or sickness.Overtime may be required, including nights and weekends with short notice.Perform ad-hoc duties as required.Qualifications and RequirementsLevel 3 qualification (ideally an apprenticeship).Electrical competences/qualifications to City and Guilds 236 Pt 1-2; 18th Edition or equivalent.Mechanical competences to City and Guilds Mechanical standard.Good multi-skilled ability.Experience working on 3-phase motors, drives and inverters.Hydraulic and pneumatic experience.Ability to fault-find and repair competences.Ability to supervise contractors.Able to write Risk and Method Statements.Able to understand and write Permits (Desirable).5 years experience.LV Authorised Person training (AP Qualifications).First Aid or emergency first aid.Experience in a similar aviation environment.LinkedIn code reference: LNKD1_UKTJ (if present on file).Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionIndustries: Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing
