Location: Corby, NN17 5XN
Salary: £45,000 £50,000 (DOE)
Shifts: 4 on / 4 off Days & Nights 12-hour shifts
Job Type: Full-time

About the Role
On behalf of a Pertemps client, were looking for a skilled and proactive Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join our team at a state-of-the-art automated facility. Youll carry out both planned and reactive maintenance sometimes at heights of up to 120ft.

What Youll Be Doing
  • Maintain and operate key systems such as conveyors, cranes, cooling systems, and oxygen reduction systems in line with supplier guidelines.
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, including routine inspections, preventative work, and urgent repairs.
  • Work towards KPIs and budget targets, ensuring maximum efficiency.
  • Follow structured maintenance plans while ensuring compliance with all safety and supplier standards.
  • Coordinate supplier service visits and maintain valid warranties.
  • Support warehouse operations to ensure smooth logistics flow.
  • Manage spare parts stock, ordering within budget and policy requirements.
  • Report clearly to the Engineering Manager and keep accurate records.
  • Identify and deliver energy-saving initiatives to improve sustainability and reduce costs.
What Were Looking For
Essential:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Multi-Skilled Engineering or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Apprentice-trained background in engineering.
  • Experience in an automated warehouse environment.
Desirable:
  • Comfortable working at heights.
  • Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
