Key Responsibilities
Mechanical maintenance and repair of distribution equipment: Conveyors, pallet wrappers, tail lifts, loading bays General facilities and building maintenance Occasional forklift use (training provided if needed) Welding and fabrication tasks (advantageous but not essential) Progression into refrigeration and specialist equipment maintenance
What We\'re Looking For
NVQ / City & Guilds in Engineering (Mechanical and/or Electrical) Solid experience with: Hydraulic systems - loading bays, tail lifts Pneumatic systems - pallet wrappers, conveyors Gearboxes, drives, motors & bearings - key plant components Chains, belts & rollers - maintenance of moving equipment General mechanical fitting & fault-finding Previous experience in a factory, warehouse, or distribution environment Confident working independently and solving problems on the spot Forklift licence or willingness to train Welding skills a plus but not essential
