Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer\n Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire\n Salary: £56,000 per annum \nOur client is a rapidly growing business that delivers premium ingredients and culinary products, empowering food lovers and chefs alike to create memorable dining experiences. \nReporting to the Lead Engineering Supervisor, we are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou will play a key role in ensuring production equipment is maintained to the highest standards, reducing downtime, and driving continuous improvement across the factory. \nKey Responsibilities:\n\nProactively drive the maintenance and repair of all production equipment in line with factory KPI's.\n\nUndertake root cause analysis and initiate corrective actions, seeing issues through to resolution.\n\nOperate, control and maintain manufacturing equipment to deliver high performance standards.\n\nApply preventative maintenance schedules to achieve zero downtime and improve efficiency.\n\nReview and update preventative maintenance tasks and engineering work orders.\n\nMonitor processes, identify variances, and take timely corrective action.\n\nSupport production with technical issues and respond effectively to unplanned maintenance events.\n\nContribute to engineering projects including installations and process improvements.\n\nMaintain accurate records of maintenance activity, spares usage and system updates.\n\nAbout You\n\nEssential Requirements:\n\nMinimum of 7 years' experience in a maintenance engineering role.\n\nStrong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.\n\nDemonstrates high standards of problem solving and technical competence.\n\nOrganised, proactive and able to work independently as well as in a team.\n\nEffective communication skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.\n\nCompetent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.\nDesirable:\n\nPrevious food industry experience.\n\nHACCP knowledge.\n\nLevel 2 Food Safety qualification.\n\nCore Competencies\n\nProblem solving and analytical skills.\n\nTeam working and strong communication.\n\nPersonal effectiveness and leadership.\n\nRespectful and collaborative working style.\n\nShift Pattern\n\nPanama shift - days and nights\n\nBenefits\n\n21 days holiday (increasing with length of service)\n\nHealth cover\n\nEnhanced pension contribution\n\nOvertime pay\n\nLife assurance\n\nCompany sick pay\nIf you're a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer looking to make an impact in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you.
