NoneResponsibilitiesJob title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer- permanent PM shiftSalary and Package Competitive + 25% shift allowance,Benefits Excellent pension employers contribution up to 10%, life assurance 6 x basic salary if member of the pension scheme, Annual bonus, bronze care health cash plan, 24/7 free employee assistance programme, 187.5 hours annual holiday + bank holidays, uniform, and excellent good working conditionsPrime Location: Meridian Business Park, Centurion Way, Leicester, LE19 1WHWorking Hours: Monday and Tuesday 2.30 pm to 12.30 am, Wednesday and Thursday, 2.30 pm to 12.15 am - 37.5 hours basicResponsible for: Ensuring all facilities and machinery are repaired, maintained and improvedJob roleProviding an efficient and effective maintenance service ensuring all machinery and facilities are maintained and improved both electrically and mechanically through the planned maintenance schedule process and the maintenance job card system.Key duties and responsibilitiesTo respond to breakdowns through the job card system and in line with the priority systemTo carry out maintenance and improvement tasks through the job card systemTo record breakdown and task information on completion of repair or improvement using the appropriate system both manual and electronicTo carry out servicing of machines and ancillary equipment as per the relevant schedulesTo carry out facility repairs and maintenance as per the schedule or as and when requiredTo source and obtain parts and materials as required following the procedures of the procurement systemTo work with production teams in the introduction of new or the relocation of existing plant and machinery from initial request through to commissioning and hand over to production.To maintain the relevant stock levels of spares and consumables reviewing and updating the registerTo ensure the correct tools and equipment are available to carry out the tasks and repairsTo ensure 5S standards are maintained in the maintenance workshop at all timesTo ensure all work is carried out to relevant regulations and health and safety standardsTo support the development and improvements in manufacturing through implementation of Lean and Continuous Improvement opportunitiesEnsure housekeeping is maintained to the highest standard and that all relevant company Health and Safety and Environmental requirements are fully adhered to.Be a proactive and flexible team member, training in other disciplines where required.QualificationsElectrical/Hydraulics/Pneumatics and Mechanical systemsExperience in presses, threadroll machines, CNC machining, DMG Doosan, Takamaz5 Years Experience ideally18th Edition Electrical RegulationsAbout UsHowmet Aerospace Inc.
