About the Role
Were looking for a
Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
with a mix of
electrical and mechanical experience , ideally from a
fast-paced FMCG or food manufacturing environment .
Youll be responsible for ensuring machinery uptime, responding to breakdowns, and supporting continuous improvement across a busy production facility. This is a hands-on, factory-floor role requiring good fault-finding skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities :
Maintenance & Engineering
Perform both planned and reactive maintenance on machinery across site
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults quickly and effectively
Maintain equipment including motors, conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, sensors, panels
Ensure optimal plant performance using CMMS (e.g. Pirana)
Improve MTTR and OEE through proactive maintenance and upgrades
Support automation systems including PLCs and HMIs
Carry out installations and project works where required
Site Support & Safety
Manage external contractors on-site when needed
Work safely across various site areas including boiler rooms, chillers, freezers, and working at height
Perform workplace inspections and audits
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene standards
Remove and replace defective parts or equipment safely and efficiently
What Were Looking For :
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
FMCG or food production background is
essential
Multi-skilled with the ability to read both
electrical and mechanical drawings
Strong fault-finding, communication, and teamworking skills
Health & Safety and Basic Food Hygiene trained
Comfortable working in cold, hot, and challenging environments (e.g. freezers, boiler rooms)
Willing and able to commit to a 4 on 4 off rotating shift (days and nights)
