Multiskilled Maintenance Technician (Mechanically biased)

Location: Houghton Le Spring

Base Salary: £43,232.28 per annum (37 hours/week)

Estimated Average Annual Salary (including shifts): Approx. £51,723.70

Generous Shift Premiums: Up to +39% for night shifts.

The Role:

Perform planned and reactive maintenance

Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults

Maintain critical safety systems.

This role involves a rotating 3-shift pattern, with overtime available.

About You:

NVQ Level 3 in Maintenance/Engineering (or equivalent)

Proven mechanical and electrical maintenance experience.

Positive, proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills.

Familiarity with Siemens S7 PLCs, ABB Robotics.
